GREENHOUSE GAS INVENTORY
County of Sonoma
This study, commissioned by the County of Sonoma, inventoried greenhouse gas emissions from all internal County operations. The study included suggested reduction strategies, educational workshops, assessment of economic and cultural feasibility of strategies, and draft recommendations for adoption by the County Board of Supervisors. This analysis was the precursor to inventories underway for all nine county cities, each of which passed local resolutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives).
