Certified engineering calculations and prepared grant and loan applications for $1.5 million aeration blower replacement for a City of Santa Rosa project conceived and designed by Provimetrics. The project will reduce a 720 kW electrical demand by approximately 50%, resulting in a payback of less than four years.
City of Petaluma Sustainability Consultant
Served as sustainability consultant assisting with the conceptual design of the City of Petaluma’s Water Recycling Facility. Recommended use of the Ecological Footprint as a stand-alone metric to report the relative environmental impact of competing designs, and expanded its computation to reflect the enormous impact of methane emissions. This single factor, which provided the only means for clearly separating the alternatives, helped the City Council to select its preferred alternative with little debate and a unanimous vote.
